Divorce

Divorce also known as dissolution of marriage, is the process of terminating a marriage or marital union.

Civil Union

Civil Union is a legal status that provides many of the same protections as marriage does to couples. 

Alimony

Alimony is a legal obligation on a person to provide financial support to their spouse before or after marital separation or divorce.​

Division of Assets

Equitable distribution is the technical legal term for the principle the courts use to accomplish property division in the dissolution of a marriage.

Prenuptial Agreements are contracts entered into prior to a marriage by the people intending to marry or contract with each other.

Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence is violence or other abuse by one person against another in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation.​
